Banners are images or logos used for advertisement purposes on your site, whether being an advertisement of your own product or an advertisement on behalf of an associate. The banner can be placed anywhere on a page. For example, if you wanted to advertise your clients products, you may wish to place their logo on the home page of your site, which can direct the users to their website once clicked on.
