The Editor - Full Screen Mode / Small Screen Mode

WebEd's editor (referred to throughout this manual as "The Editor" - always starts out in a small window mode / view.
  • This is to conserve screen real estate;
  • Your editing area is actually much larger than you think. Using the full screen button will give you all the real estate you need.

If you have ever wish to know what all those little icons actually mean, you can do one of two things - either:

  • Mouse over the icon and a tool tip will appear with the name of the tool; or
  • Go to the WebEd User Guide Tools & Icons for full listing of all the icons and their purpose.Stage 1 - Small Screen Mode

The Full Screen icon is situated on the top left of the toolbar and is a 'toggle switch', i.e., Click it the first time and it switches to full window mode. Click it again and it shrinks back to small size mode. So you can switch it backwards and forwards as required.
