Hide a Page from Site Navigation

When a new page is created and you have set the page status as "online", it will be included in the site navigation by default.

This means the page can be viewed by visitors to your site.

If you wish to hide a page from site navigation - you may do so via Advanced Settings - see instructions below.
Once you hide a page from site navigation - the page will only be visible via the sitemap by site Administrators.
Hiding a page does not mean it isn't online, it means that visitors are not able to see it in the sitemap or as a website menu option.  Visitors could only view this page if given a direct URL hyperlink to that particular page.

See also your page status (Creating a Page) - Where the difference in page status : "Working" and "Online" are explained.

To Hide a Page from Site Navigation:

Log into the ADMINISTRATION area on your website, see the login section for details.

Navigate to the page you wish to hide and click on Edit Page

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Advanced Settings

Tick the " Hide From the Site Navigation" box.

Click on Update then Close.

If the page is hidden from site navigation, it will only be visible to editors who are logged in. To check if a page is hidden, the 'Hide from the Site Navigation' box is ticked when 'Advanced Settings' is clicked on. Visitors to your site will not see hidden pages. Pages can be changed from 'Hide from the Site Navigation' to 'visible' in the site navigation at any time.
