The Datasheet module is about swapping your valuable content for an email address. This has been practised online for a long time by car and technology companies. Almost any type of content, from price lists, PDF Brochures, white papers and a wide range of other resources are suitable for a quick swap with an email address. Datasheets also allow the user to only have to give their email out once instead of doing it everywhere again and again all over the site.
Datasheets can be used for anything you can add a hyperlink to - an image, PDF or any other media file you may have to download and WebEd has a Datasheet module to help you do it.
