Global Spell Checker

Global Spell checker is a WebEd tool that allows you to run a spell check across all pages - all content - in the website. This works as any spell checker does and highlights words that are not spelt correctly, then prompts to Ignore or Replace the word from a list of suggestions.

To acces Global Spell Checker, go to your website to login
Click on Launch the Admin module
Hover over the Web Pages tab and click on 'Global Spell Checker'

Select a page from the drop down list of pages on your site, the content of the page will be loaded into content area.

Click Check Spelling Button, a new window will be displayed with spelling errors and list of corrections.

Change To: The word will be changed to the word that is in this field.
Suggestions: A suggested list of words with correct spelling. Selecting from this list updates the Change To field.
Ignore: Ignore the wrong spelling this time.
Ignore All: Ignore all the occurrences of the wrong spelling.
Add: Add to the dictionary, so it can be checked next time.
Replace: Replace the wrong spelling with Change To for this instance.
Replace All: Replace all occurrences of the wrong spelling.
Cancel: Cancel the checking.
Choose an action on the spelling checker, eg..: ignore, replace or cancel.

Click the Update button to make the changes p permanently when spell checking is complete.
